Just like many other websites, we also use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files which are transmitted onto your hard disk from a website server. This automatically enables us to receive certain data such as IP addresses, the browser used, the operating system on your computer and your connection to the Internet. Cookies cannot be used to start up programs or to transfer viruses onto a computer. Using the information contained in the cookies we can make navigation easier for you and enable the correct display of our webpages. Please note that individual functions on our website may possibly not function if you deactivate the use of cookies.

If you are registered with us you can access contents and services which we only offer to registered users. Furthermore, registered users have the possibility of changing or deleting any data they stated during registration at any time. It also goes without saying that we can provide you with information about the personal data we have saved about you at any time. We would also be happy to correct or delete these if you wish so insofar as no statutory retention periods prevent this. If you wish to contact us in this connection please use the contact data provided at the end of this data protection declaration.

In certain circumstances subscribers may also be informed by email about matters relevant to the service or the registration (for example changes to the newsletter offer or technical matters). We require a valid email address for effective registration. We use the "double opt-in" process to check that the registration was actually carried out by the owner of the email address. To do this we log ordering of the newsletter, sending of a confirmation email and receipt of the answer required in this. No further data is acquired. This data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties. You can revoke your consent to saving your personal data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. Each newsletter contains an appropriate link. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web evaluation service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called "Cookies", text data which has been stored on your computer and which enables analysis of website use by yourself. Information provided by the cookie regarding your use of this website is normally forwarded on to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If you activate IP anonymisation on this website, however, your IP will be shortened in advance by Google within member states of the European Union or other states party to the agreement on the European Economic Area. The complete IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the website operator, Google will use this information in order to evaluate your use of the website, to create reports on website activity and to provide additional services connected to the use of the website and of the Internet to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser during the course of Google Analytics will not be compiled with other Google data. You can block saving of the cookies by setting your browser software appropriately;

Browser add-on for deactivation of Google Analytics

In addition, or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can stop tracking through Google Analytics on our website simply by clicking this link: Google Analytics tracking opt-out. An opt-out cookie will be installed on your device during this. This will prevent recording through Google Analytics in the future for this website and for this browser for as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visually provide geographical information. During the use of Google Maps, Google also acquires, processes and uses data about usage of the map functions by the visitor.

Embedded YouTube videos

We have embedded YouTube videos in some of our web pages. YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, is the operator of the appropriate plug-ins. If you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, a connection is made to the YouTube servers. During this YouTube is informed which page you are visiting. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube can then personally assign your surfing behaviour. You can prevent this simply by logging out of your YouTube account. If a YouTube video is started the provider uses cookies which collect information about user behaviour. Anyone who has deactivated saving of cookies for the Google ad program can also expect not to use such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. However, YouTube also places non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this you will have to block saving of cookies in your browser.

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you access an advert placed by Google on our website a cookie will be stored on your computer by Google AdWords. The cookie for conversion tracking will be placed if a user clicks on an advert placed by Google. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits specific pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, both we and Google can see that the user has clicked the advert and has been forwarded to this page. Every Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. This means that cookies cannot be traced through the AdWords customer websites . The information obtained with the aid of conversion cookies are used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have decided to use conversion tracking. The customers find out the overall number of users who have clicked on their advert and who are forwarded to a page provided with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information which would allow them to identify the user personally. If you do not wish to participate in tracking you can reject placement of a cookie required for this purpose - either using the browser settings which generally deactivates automatic setting of cookies, or by setting your browser so that cookies provided by the "googleleadservices.com" domain are blocked. Please note that you should not delete the opt-out cookies for as long as you require no collection of measured data. If you have deleted all the cookies in your browser you will have to reset the relevant opt-out cookie.

Use of Google Remarketing

This website uses the remarketing function from Google Inc. The function is used to present website visitors adverts related to interests within the Google advertising network. A so-called cookie is saved on the website user's browser which enables recognition of the user when he calls up webpages belonging to Google's advertising network. These websites can present the visitor with adverts which are related to contents which the user has previously called up on other websites which use the Google remarketing function. According to their information, Google does not acquire any personal data during this process. You have the right to obtain information about your personal data saved on our website at any time. You also have the right to carry out correction, blockage or, depending on the mandatory data collection for business processing, deletion of your personal data. In such cases please contact our Data Protection Officer. You can find the contact data right at the bottom. This data must be retained in a blockage file for control purposes so that blockage of data can be considered at any time. You can also demand deletion of data insofar as there is no statutory archiving obligation. We would be pleased to block your data if such obligation exists. You can carry out changes or revocation of an agreement with effect for the future by sending us an appropriate notification.

Changes to our data protection regulations

We reserve the right to occasionally adapt this data protection declaration so that it always complies with current statutory requirements, or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, for example if we introduce new services. This new data protection declaration will then apply to any renewed visits.
