How is our packaging produced?
Our packaging is based on rigid cardboard (1.5–3 mm thick), which is wrapped in a high-quality cover material (typically 100–200 g/m²). We offer a wide range of finishes – from standard printed papers to premium materials. Available textures include smooth, soft-touch, natural, embossed, metallic and more.
Can Guddenberg produce other products?
Yes, we also produce high-quality folders, binders, notebooks and similar rigid products. If you are looking for premium cardboard-based solutions, we will be happy to support you.
What are the design possibilities?
We offer a wide range of materials, finishing options (including printing, embossing and screen printing), accessories and custom inlays. You can freely define size and box type within our production capabilities. We also provide samples to help you make the right decision.
What is the minimum and maximum format?
The smallest box we can produce measures 60 × 60 × 17 mm (internal dimensions). For automated production, the maximum size is 410 mm in length, 440 mm in width and 117 mm in height. Larger formats can be produced manually upon request.
Are there any additional costs for tools or plates?
Our prices include all production-related costs. Only delivery costs are calculated separately.
Can our boxes be recycled?
Yes, we offer fully recyclable packaging solutions. Simply let us know if sustainability is a priority for your project.
How can I submit a request to Guddenberg?

How does the ordering process work?
Once you accept our offer, you will receive an order confirmation along with all required layout templates. If needed, our design team will support you. We then create a 3D visualisation of your packaging before production.
How can I cancel an order?
As all products are made to order, cancellations are generally not possible once production has started. Please contact your personal advisor to check whether adjustments or cancellations are still feasible.
How long does delivery take?
Depending on the order size and specifications, production and delivery typically take between four and seven weeks. The estimated delivery time is always included in your offer. If you require delivery by a specific date, we can arrange this individually.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship worldwide. However, we recommend evaluating the balance between shipping costs and product value. We will, of course, provide you with a transparent cost estimate in advance.
How are the goods shipped?
Your order is securely packed and shipped on pallets, either on Euro pallets (120 × 80 cm) or smaller one-way pallets (typically 100 × 70 cm).
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs depend on volume and weight. We work with reliable logistics partners and calculate fair, cost-based shipping rates. Your contact person will be happy to provide a detailed estimate.
Are there additional fees for deliveries outside the EU?
Yes, import duties and local charges depend on the destination country and are payable upon delivery. We work with experienced customs partners to ensure a smooth process. In most cases, duties for our products are relatively low.
What are the payment terms?
For new customers, we typically require an advance payment (30–50%), with the remaining balance due after delivery. If your company has specific payment requirements, we will be happy to find an individual solution.
When and how do I receive the invoice?
Invoices are usually sent by email after delivery. Upon request, we can also provide a printed version by post.
The shipment does not match the order – what should I do?
Your satisfaction is our top priority. If your goods arrive damaged or do not meet your expectations, please contact your personal advisor immediately. We will review your case promptly and, if justified, arrange replacement, repair or collection of the affected goods.
How can I order samples?
We are happy to provide a selection of samples. Simply use our contact form and describe your project, or request them directly from your contact person.
I have not received my samples – what should I do?
In rare cases, shipments may be delayed or lost. Delivery usually takes only a few days. If you have not received your samples within a week, please contact us and we will immediately send a replacement.
